Nathara warned the party she could not guarantee their safety travelling with her group, because they are being pursued by the First Blood Court. The party had to ask what that meant; she explained it is a clan name, not a description, and that these are what the surface would call vampires.

Lia's reaction was immediate enthusiasm — she volunteered to help kill vampires, and Rowan's sun-god leanings pointed the same way. Whether the Court catches up to them on the road to Xalthera is unresolved.

Nathara asked the party to keep their light dim at camp, which is at least partly about not advertising the group's position in the dark.
