Dungeon Crawlers - Earth

How this game shows up on the front page.

Shown on the card, and as the wiki's own title.

No cover yet — the front page borrows a picture from one of your pages.

Resized and re-encoded on upload, like every other image here. Landscape suits the card best.

The name their lines get attributed to in session transcripts. Defaults to "GM".

/g/dungeon-crawlers-earth/

Follows the name unless you change it here. Old addresses keep working — anything already bookmarked or pasted into chat redirects to the new one rather than breaking.

Game system

What this table plays, and what a character page asks for. Every group counts something different, so none of it is fixed — the sections below are what characters and NPCs in Dungeon Crawlers - Earth get, and they are yours to decide.

Choosing a different system brings in that system's own sheet, replacing the sections below. No page loses anything: a page keeps its own values, and a label it already carries stays with it.

Character sheet

Three shapes to build from: a grid of scores (STR, DEX, CON — a label and a short value each), a row of numbers across the top of the page (hit points, armour), and a list with ratings (skills, disciplines, moves). Labels set here become boxes on every character and NPC page; a section with no labels is an empty canvas, filled in by whoever edits the page.

The GM's voice so the transcript can tell you apart from the table

Record about 45 seconds of yourself talking normally. The recorder uses it to work out who said what in a session, so quotes end up attributed to the right person. It's stored as a numeric voiceprint, not as audio.

Recording more than once genuinely helps. Each new sample is averaged into your profile rather than replacing it — measured on real table audio, one short sample wasn't enough to identify the speaker at all, and four made it unambiguous. You get a different passage each time, so repeat recordings cover different sounds.

A voiceprint matches best against the microphone it was made on, so one recorded here on your phone or laptop and one recorded at the table are both worth having — they're kept separately and the best match wins. Pick the microphone below before recording: enrolling through the one the table actually uses is what makes attribution work.

Microphone

0:00

This is for whoever runs the game, speaking normally. A distinctive voice you use for one particular NPC is worth enrolling separately, on that NPC's own page — then their lines get attributed to them rather than to you.

Delete this game

Takes Dungeon Crawlers - Earth off the site for everyone, straight away: every page, image, recording, voiceprint and saved revision in it. It isn't erased at once — it's set aside in a deleted-games folder on the server for 30 days, where it can be restored by hand, and then erased for good. Its web address stays reserved either way, so old links to it won't open a different game.
